Most farmers in Ghana don’t have access to saving and loan services. This gift will make it possible for a group of 10 mostly women farmers and petty traders to work as a small cooperative. To start or grow a business, farmers and traders use the loan, repay with 10% interest over a year, then re-“borrow” from the money saved.
